With every immersive media project comes the opportunity to learn something very new and very complicated.

On my most recent project, a virtual tour of the Women in Military Service to America (or WIMSA) Memorial in Washington, D.C., we decided that in addition to shooting 360-degree video, we would also capture 360-degree (or spatial) audio.

Thankfully, we had the help of talented sound designer John Hendicott, who was able to guide me on how to capture high-quality spatial audio, and I, in turn, am able to pass that information along to you in the form of this handy guide to the Sennheiser Ambeo spatial microphone, available on Immersive Shooter now.
