About Sarah

Sarah Redohl is a new media journalist focused on immersive and mobile storytelling.

She is currently the editor of VR/AR/MR news site Immersive Shooter and a producer for StoryUp, an XR company that has produced content for major media outlets and blue chip companies like Google and Facebook.

Her immersive media work includes an international documentary about overcoming physical disabilities in Zambia, which appeared in the Washington Post and was displayed at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. She has also worked with the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines to create a film that allowed aging women veterans the opportunity to see the U.S. Women’s Memorial in virtual reality. Her work has also appeared on the Travel Channel and National Public Radio, among others.

Prior to her work in immersive media, Sarah taught mobile and multimedia journalism at her alma mater, the University of Missouri, and served as a print and digital editor for the Business Times Company.

She has also presented on TedX stages and at internationally recognized events, including MojoCon and MojoFest, NAB and the What If? Conference series, among others. Sarah has also won regional and national awards for her visual storytelling, and is recognized as one of Folio: Magazine's 15 Under 30 young professionals driving media's next-gen innovation.

Originally from St. Louis, Sarah is now based in Bonn, Germany.
